Instructions:

Move around using the Left and Right Arrow keys to pick a direction. Then hold Space to charge and release to fire.

As you slide around try to collect as many coins as you can before time runs out! Each coin collected will give you slightly more time to collect more.

While sliding you'll encounter some obstacles popping up. Snow will simply slow you down to an halt. Bombs will send you flying off in another direction. Lastly Water will end your run so it's best to avoid it at all costs.

About:

Slideguin is a game made in Godot where you're a penguin and you slide around on the ice. I started this game as a sort of challenge to myself to make something. While I'm good at following tutorials, when it comes to making something totally on my own I tend lose interest and abandon partially finished projects. This project has been no different. I lost interest in it when it was so very close to being done. I didn't touch it for 4 months until recently when I decided to finally mostly finish it up. I didn't implement everything I originally set out to and honestly I'm pretty sure there is a least one known bug that I didn't bother to fix, but I've decided it's more important to me to release it as is than to be caught up in what it could be.

A side note, originally the credits in game were suppose to link to:

but when I uploaded it to itch.io it took me to an error page.
So, while we're here why don't I give you a more details to the credits.
The font is Kenney Pixel from his Kenney Fonts pack and the sounds are all from his Interface Sounds pack.
